Preparation of the PRP

Blood test: The nurse or doctor takes the necessary amount of blood using a kit provided for this purpose.
Separation: The PRP is then prepared using a centrifuge. The red blood cells are thus separated from the platelets. These will be used on the donor and recipient areas.

Why the PRP?

Graft preservation: during grafting, a PRP solution is prepared to receive freshly extracted grafts. This action optimizes the graft survival rate.

Optimization of regrowth: the addition of plasma at the time of implantation can significantly improve the regrowth of grafts.

Healing: the PRP solution thus prepared allows rapid healing and thus optimizes the quality of your donor area.

Protocol:

  • 3 sessions at 1-month intervals
  • Balance sheets at 6 and 9 months

Can We Resume A Sports Activity Or Professional Quickly?

It is indeed possible to resume physical activity shortly after the operation, without the major work stoppage, the operating suites are relatively simple.

What Are The Risks Of The Hair Transplant?

  • Shock loss phenomenon: this is a hair loss 2 to 3 weeks after the procedure, around the recipient zone and/or the donor zone. It is in most cases temporary.
  • Asymmetry or insufficient result, caused by poor plug grafting or insufficient implantation (low density of hair).
  • Folliculitis: localized skin infection, which requires treatment with local care and/or antibiotic therapy.
  • Epidermal cysts: appearance on the recipient area or the collection area. These usually disappear on their own or with simple treatment.
  • Scars: micro-scars may appear on the grafted area. The risk of hypertrophic scars or keloids is limited.
